Join us for a focused and practical session designed to equip counsel with a clear understanding of when and how to use mediation as an effective dispute resolution tool. This primer will walk through best practices for preparing yourself and your clients for mediation, ensuring the process is used strategically and productively. We will also explore the role of parenting coordination, including when it is appropriate, how it complements and contrasts other dispute resolution options, including mediation, and guidance on its effective use in family law matters. The materials include charts, a detailed paper and insight into how to properly draft mediation and parenting coordination clauses in agreements.
