A reminder that Form 6C "Lawyer or Paralegal's Certificate of Service" came into effect July 1.

FLR 6(19)(f) is amended to allow:

 (f) a lawyer or paralegal’s certificate of service (Form 6C), if,

        (i) the document was served by the lawyer or paralegal, or

        (ii) the lawyer or paralegal caused the document to be                

        served and is satisfied that service was effected.  

Five new judges have been appointed to the Ontario Court of Justice. Newmarket would like to congratulate and welcome Justice Michael Alexander Townsend.
